Open from 9am until 6pm (or until 9pm on Thursdays), you can spend the day browsing through hundreds of stores in the centre, before having dinner at one of the many dining establishments and then catching a movie at the Event Cinema.
The centre features stores for women’s fashion, men’s fashion, kids apparel, home and technology, sports and leisure and fresh food, as well as pharmacies, barber shops, nail salons and hair salons. If you’re in Parramatta for business and need a quick spruce-up before a big meeting, the Westfield is definitely the place to visit!

The Riverside Theatre is the premier performing arts centre in the Western Sydney region, playing a vital role in building the diverse, thriving creative scene within the area. It’s nestled within the midst of the Church Street Eat Street precinct, making it the perfect place to see a show before having a delicious dinner. The theatre opened in 1988 and currently sees about 2000 performances happening each year, with 180,000 patrons passing through their doors.

Rosehill Gardens is touted as ‘one of the most picturesque racecourses in all of Australia’, and it really couldn’t be more true. With immaculate gardens surrounding the specialist track and stunning modern facilities, Rosehill is the perfect place to either have a corporate event or come for the day to enjoy some sporting majesty.

For those who like a touch of history, why not visit Elizabeth Farm – one of the oldest homes in Australia and a seriously hands-on ‘living museum’? Originally built for military couple John and Elizabeth Macarthur in 1793, the space is now an ‘access all areas’ museum, with visitors able to explore the entire property and discover more about the major events the Parramatta area has been through. These include the growth of the colony, the toppling of governors, convict rebellion and the birth of the Australian wool industry.
Open from 10am till 4pm on Wednesday to Sunday, it’s $12 for adults to enter, and will provide a great, relaxed afternoon learning more about the origins of the Parramatta area.
For a dramatic change of pace, why not put your problem-solving (and stress regulating) skills to the test at Parramatta’s Labyrinth Escape Rooms? A great option for those travelling in groups and wanting to do something together, the escape rooms see your primal instincts come into play as your use logic and skills to find a way to escape from your locked room in just 60 minutes.
